hitRECord is a wonderful, heartwarming project that encourages artists to collaborate and create brilliant videos, illustrations, music, posters..(you get the picture).

so, i decided that today and tomorrow, i’ll go through the archives and post some of my personal favorites.

that being said, you can always check out the website and sign up (i don’t care if you think you have nothing to contribute, you do, trust me. you’d be surprised by the stuff artists/people can recycle).

8tracks app (iOS)(android) - the only reason i’d consider getting a 3G connection

the only thing it’s missing is the ability to actually create a mixtape from your phone, other than that it’s perfect (maybe even better than browsing through the web).

go download it now and since i don’t post a lot of music, you can follow me there too.

soundcloud downloader (macOS) - because the internet just keeps on giving and giving and giving

i’ve been on an intense music discovery rampage (if that makes any sense) and most of the songs are from soundcloud. very neat, fast and easy to use.

just make sure you support the artists, tell them how much you love them and appreciate their work.

no windows users, i didn’t forget you. here’s the best windows version i could find, please let me know if it works nicely.
